| For the true Appalachian look Sisson Dupont & Carder offers a multitude of options on the Appalachian Log. First choose your size from widths of 4”, 6”, or 8” then your height of 8”, 10” or 12”. Second choose your exterior finish from chink groove log with smooth, rough sawn or hand hewn finish and last choose your interior finish of chink or v-groove and smooth, rough sawn, or hand hewn. We will mill these logs to order in any combination you desire. For this log you may use the butt & pass but we recommend a true dovetail corner. Once stacked if you want to enhance the true log cabin look we offer Sascho’s Log Jam for an esthetic seal in the chink groove. | ||
